Cocktails at the Anchor Inn
Artistic interpretation of an old photo of the Anchor Inn, formerly located in San Clemente, CA.
Hand cut pieces of leather, suede, and denim stitched together to recreate the old facade. Letters have been machine cut from adhesive vinyl. Embroidered lettering. Machine stitched onto canvas. Finished with a thrifted frame.
Material and frame have been repurposed and up-cycled into original art, saving both from ending up in the landfill.
Backed with paper, stamped, and signed.

*All artwork is created with scrap pieces. Any blemish in the materials used are intentional and part of the overall look of the art piece. Present "defects" in leather, suede, denim, etc. scrap pieces have been selected to be part of the artistic scene and completely intentional of the artist.
Note that all frames used have been thrifted - meaning they are second hand and not brand new. Blemishes in the frame itself are not damages and have also been selected to enhance the overall look of the art piece.
