One-of-a-kind mixed media original art made using scraps of leather & suede. Each piece of fabric is machine stitched and layered onto acrylic painted heavyweight watercolor paper. Stitching is intentionally visible as it enhances the bespoke nature of the art.
The whole composition is then machine stitched onto gold colored velvet to add more texture to the piece. Finished with a second-hand frame to further the up-cycled theme.
Subtle irregularities and natural wear in the materials are intentional and speak to the slow, handmade process behind the art.
